Hotel Uni - Balatonfured

There was nothing to like about this hotel. The breakfast was boring, offering the same limited options every day with no variety. The hotel lacked a bar, despite being advertised otherwise. The worst part was the complete disregard for guest comfort and convenience, with no cleaning service during our stay and no opportunity for fresh towels or a change of bin. We were even charged for car parking, which seemed unnecessary and unfair for hotel guests. this hotel was a complete letdown, and to anyone.

Our stay at this hotel was a disappointment from the start. The room itself was in dire condition, with old furniture, no table, TV, or fridge.

This hotel is convenient for visiting the town.

We were in July, it was very hot, we asked the air conditioning support, a charge was only 10 euros per day. The rooms were dirty, bad the breakfast, no lift, at the end it did not accept the credit card and no euros, but only Forint. Stay away from this hotel.

Right on the Lake Balaton. All the beer and wine you can drink is included ini the price as well as all (so so) buffet meals.

Big busy hotel for local vacationers to spend the week with their kids. Needs a refurb badly though room was OK.

The hotel is in an excellent location right on the waterside of Lake Balaton, providing easy access to the lake for swimming and other water activities. It is also conveniently located in the center of town, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with adequate facilities such as a small fridge. the breakfast buffet offers a good variety of hot and cold options.

There is no air conditioning or fan in the rooms, which can make them uncomfortably warm during hot weather.

I cant really think of something good about this hotel, the hotel is very overrated for what you really get.

-we booked for a room with balcony but at the arrival they gave us a room without balcony telling that ones with balcony were not available - the room was hot as hell (maybe just above the hotel kitchen) and there was no air condiftiong (in august). - no hairdryer in the room , when we asked for it at the reception they told us they couldnt give us a hairdryer cause someone else had it , we asked it again after a few hours ....but no one of the hotel staff knew where the hairdryer disappeared - the room was dirty and on the bed we found several hair , maybe from previous guests. - in the bathroom big humidity stain on the ceiling from which was falling water drops directly into the sink - very poor breakfast

Our room was warm as a sauna and the hotel provided no ventilators. Also there were lots of mosquitoes.

The hotel is situated in a stunning location with beautiful views of the lake. the breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from. the staff was friendly and helpful in recommending local attractions to visit. the hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and shops.

The rooms were small and outdated with basic amenities. the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable to sleep at night, especially during the hot summer months.

The location was ok, shops and local facilities were nearby within walking distance. The private beach was very convenient, however it can get overcrowded with people coming from outside.

The rooms were small and extremely hot.There was no fan provided. There is mobil ac available but for a surcharge.The breakfast was average and for the price we paid for the room, the service should have been much better. The private beach is not as private as it should be. Car park is full at week ends as it is used by outsiders. The location is not quiet as the noise of nearby discos is so loud during some nights of the week.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right on the waterfront and with a private beach. We enjoyed the convenience of being really close to the train station, making transportation easy. The hotel facilities were excellent, with comfortable beds and a quiet atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. we appreciated the availability of private parking.

Location was very good, near to the boats and restaurants.

`The receptionist who checked us in was so rude it was unreal! Flies and midgies all over the room. Never again thanks!

Resonable breakfast.

Expensive for the way the hotel looks, rooms was minimalistic, inside of the hotel is really bad looking, there where spiders in the room and balcony, there was no air-conditioning in the rooms, staff at night was not speaking resonable engish and gave ill advice, no minibar.

The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location on the lake is absolutely fantastic, allowing guests to enjoy beautiful views and direct access to the waters. The staff members are friendly and provide good service, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests. The breakfast buffet is also a highlight, offering a variety of options to start the day off right.

The hotel could improve on a few aspects, but overall everything was fine.

We had a nice room with balcony 2 stairs up (no lift). Tha carpet was a little bit old but the rest of the room with bathroom was ok. The personel speaks german better than english but they are kind and try their best. Parking is very good. The location is very good. The hotel has it's own beach. We liked the food in the restaurant very much. We had lunch here many days during our week here. Breakfast is good. You can rent bicykles. We had a fridge in our room.

We had to rent a mobile air-condition the whole week for 9€ per day. It was very hot when we stayed her (30-36) and the air-conditioner was not effective.

It is fantastic location, next to the beach.
